Artesians Open Season with Third-Place Finish at Plainfield Invitational

The Martinsville girls golf team opened its season with a strong performance at the Plainfield Invitational at Deer Creek, finishing third in a seven-team field with a team score of 371. Zionsville won the tournament with a score of 340, followed by host Plainfield at 360. Jocelyn Mercer led the Artesians with an impressive round of 83, earning a fourth-place individual finish. Maddie Martin followed with an 87. Rounding out the Martinsville scores were Ani Luther (100), Olivia Hittel (101), Aubree Whaley (101), and Lillian Lam (110). Congratulations to the Artesians on a great start to the season!
